The physics of mold growth in a UAE home is a direct consequence of air conditioning. When air inside a room is cooled to 22–24°C while external temperatures exceed 40°C, surfaces near AC units, windows and external walls develop a significant temperature differential with the warm, humid air.

Moisture condenses on these cooler surfaces — exactly as condensation forms on a cold glass — creating the conditions mold spores need to germinate and grow. Without addressing the condensation, mold cannot be permanently resolved regardless of how many times it is cleaned off.

Mold poses real health risks that are particularly significant in the UAE's sealed, air-conditioned indoor environment. Unlike homes in cooler climates where windows are regularly opened to ventilate, UAE homes recirculate the same internal air continuously.

Mold releases spores and mycotoxins into this air that are then inhaled repeatedly. The health effects range from mild — irritated eyes, runny nose — to serious, including worsened asthma and, with prolonged exposure to species like Stachybotrys (black mold), more severe neurological symptoms.

Our mold removal service begins with a thorough inspection to identify all affected areas and the moisture source feeding the growth. We then remove the mold safely using HEPA-filtered equipment and anti-fungal agents that eliminate the root structure rather than just the visible surface growth.

Affected materials that cannot be adequately treated — typically gypsum board that has been deeply penetrated — are replaced. The area is then treated with a mold-inhibiting coating and we address the moisture source to prevent recurrence.
